Vladimir Dimitroff

UK Director, PRISM Consulting; Principal Consultant, Beyond Philosophy

Vladimir Dimitroff is a recognised international expert in business and technology strategies, particularly in Customer Strategy, customer centricity and CRM. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in senior management and consulting roles, he has helped a number of blue-chip companies from all sectors to succeed in competitive markets in three continents.

Following a successful career in senior corporate roles he founded DataMasters in a joint venture with PRISM Consulting, whereby the two companies pioneered emerging CRM concepts in the 90-s, developing strategies and loyalty programmes for a major bank, a national airline, a newly-privatised national telco, retailers and hotels. He was later invited to join CRM thought-leaders Peppers and Rogers, one of the world’s foremost customer strategy houses. With their European office, Vladimir took part and led major projects with clients like British Telecom, insurance giant Winterthur and sea transport company P&O Ferries. He later joined Round (UK) Ltd, a specialist consulting and technology company in strategic assessments and planning, winners of ‘Innovator of the Year’ award for CRM in 2003. With Round he took part in multiple projects in the mobile telecoms sector, particularly the pan-European operations of T-Mobile, and also led the engagement with Turkcell, where the programme he led won the ‘CRM Oscar’ and the Gartner CRM Award. Vladimir is currently a Director of PRISM Consulting (UK), continuing the PRISM leadership in Stakeholder Relationship Management. Within PRISM he develops new methodologies and tools and helps companies in Europe and the Middle East with large transformational programs, enabling them to compete successfully using customer-centric capabilities, social business and innovation. Since 2012 Vladimir is also Principal Consultant with Beyond Phiosophy, a Customer Experience world-leading firm with unique methodologies for addressing emotional aspects of the experience and deeper behavior drivers.

Vladimir has a technology Masters degree from the University of Sofia and a post-graduate degree in Marketing and New Product Development from Oxford International Business School (UK). He is a member of the Institute of Commercial Management (UK) and founding member of the European Centre for Customer Strategies (ECCS), the CRM Institute of Turkey and the CRM Association of Russia. Vladimir has taught as visiting lecturer at universities and a variety of corporate courses. He has written numerous articles published online and in specialist print publications like Management Information Systems, CRM Magazine, Telecoms International and is a frequent keynote speaker at business conferences around Europe.
